Seine-Maritime celebrates sport
The passing of the Olympic flame is an emblematic event which precedes each edition of the Olympic Games. In 2024, France will host the Summer Olympics on these lands for weeks of sport and fervor. The party begins when the flame arrives in Marseille on May 8, 2024 and will be in the heart of Dieppe on Friday July 5, 2024, 20 days before the start of the competition.

The city of four ports is one of the 7 cities in Seine-Maritime to host the flame:
Over 4 kilometers, residents and athletes from the region like Kévin Campion, Olympic walker, will take turns.

It generates enthusiasm and engagement among local communities and encourages participation in sporting and cultural activities.
On the program for July 5:
- Rugby, football, basketball, kayaking… Sport in all its forms at the sports village
- Exhibitions at the Watchmaking Museum in Saint-Nicolas d’Aliermont (25 minutes by car from your hotel) or at the History of Daily Life Museum in Petit-Caux (20 minutes by car)
