The most beautiful viewpoints in Dieppe and its surroundings

Are you dreaming of postcard panoramas? You've come to the right place! Dieppe and its coastline have captivated many painters with its changing colours and lights. There's no doubt that you'll also fall in love with the seaside and the equally beautiful valley. Here's a quick overview of the most beautiful spots.

Get some height in Dieppe

The Bonsecours Chapel

If you want a unique viewpoint from the heights of Dieppe, the Bonsecours Chapel is the place to go.
Built to pay tribute to sailors lost at sea, the chapel offers a bird's eye view of the picturesque port of Dieppe.
You can also admire the entire town, the sea and the cliff below. Surrounded by goats grazing peacefully...

Dieppe Castle

From the top of this castle, you'll overlook the town, the beach and the cliffs. A 360° view that reveals all the beauty of the Normandy coastline!
You can easily get there, on foot or by car, from our hotel in La Tour aux Crabes.

The marine cemetery of Varengeville-sur-Mer

A place of peace and history

Blue, green, grey… From the cemetery, the shades of colour of the horizon that spread out before you are impressive.
The view of the white cliffs of Dieppe, which seem to blend into the scenery, is also spectacular.
This is where the painter and sculptor Georges Braque rests, who designed the church’s stained glass windows with Ubac.
Decorated with a blue mosaic representing a bird, the artist’s tomb has become a true place of pilgrimage.

Pourville-sur-Mer

In the footsteps of Claude Monet

A few kilometres from Dieppe, in Pourville-sur-Mer, you will have a breathtaking view of the chalk cliffs.
A panorama that was favored by the impressionist painter Claude Monet, who lived in the small coastal village and was inspired by the landscape for several of his works.

Petit-Caux and Tourneville-sur-Eu

A wild and preserved gem

Located a little further along the coast, Petit-Caux also offers a magnificent natural setting: crenellated cliff tops on one side, beach below on the other.
This wild site, bordered by cliffs and pebble beaches, offers spectacular views of the English Channel.
Our panoramic bar Le patio by le Tour aux Crabes also offers a breathtaking view of the port of Dieppe!
