A historic festival

For 30 years, the Rouen Armada has taken its spectators on a journey across the world and its oceans.

This event has become a must for professionals and sailing enthusiasts alike, as well as for the simply curious.

Indeed, this event brings together the most beautiful and largest boats in the world for 10 days every 4 to 6 years.

The last edition took place in 2019, for the 30th anniversary of the Armada.

See you from 8 to 18 June for the 2023 edition of the Rouen Armada

This year again, the event will welcome emblematic boats from all over the world:

• The three-masted square-rigged sailing ship Dar Młodzieży, from Poland (108.8 metres in length)
• The three-masted schooner sailboat Le Marité, from Granville in France (44.90 metres in length)
• The three-masted barque Belem, one of the oldest three-masted barques in Europe and classified as a historical monument, from France (58.8 metres in length)
• The Cisne Branco and its 31 sails, a ship of the Brazilian Navy (76 metres long)

And many more!

The event not to be missed during the festivities? The Grand Maritime Parade on the last day, 18 June.

The boats will parade over 120 kilometres between the cities of Rouen and Le Havre.
